# v1.1.3 — Smoother scrolling

> Scrolling through long scripts is noticeably smoother, and the Characters sidebar no longer causes stutter.

## Highlights

Scrolling is faster and smoother — especially in long scripts. Inkwell now does far less work on every frame as you scroll, so the editor stays fluid no matter how big your screenplay gets.

## Improved

* **Smoother scrolling in long scripts.** The editor now only draws what's actually on screen as you scroll, instead of working through the whole document each frame. The longer your script, the bigger the difference.
* **The Characters sidebar keeps up.** Having the Characters list open no longer causes the editor to stutter while you scroll.
