## Highlights

Getting started with Quill just got a lot simpler. Every new account can now begin with a **free week of Quill Pro**: 500 credits, no card, nothing to cancel. It is enough to actually put Quill to work on a real draft and see how it fits the way you write before you decide anything. The editor itself stays free forever, and when you want to keep using Quill after the week, you choose how you pay for it.

## New

* **Start a free week of Quill Pro, no card.** When you create an account, you can start a seven-day trial of Quill Pro with one tap. You get 500 credits, there is nothing to enter and nothing to cancel, and when the week ends you simply drop back to the free editor.
* **Sign in with Apple or Google, right in the app.** No more bouncing out to a browser to create an account. Continue with Apple or Google straight from the welcome screen, and your account and any credits follow you across your devices.
* **A nudge to your free week when you need it.** If you reach for Quill before you have started your trial, Inkwell offers you the free week right there, instead of asking you to buy anything.

## Improved

* **Simpler, more honest pricing.** The full editor is free forever: writing, formatting, importing, exporting, unlimited scripts, all offline. Quill runs on credits, and you only spend them when Quill actually answers, never while you type. After your free week, keep Quill going with a $4.99 credit pack (150 credits, no subscription) or Quill Pro ($10/month, or \$100/year, for 500 credits a month).
* **A clearer welcome.** The first-run experience walks you through signing in and starting your free week without clutter, and explains up front exactly what Quill will and will not do.
* **Under the hood.** Small reliability and diagnostics improvements so we can keep making Inkwell better. Your writing experience is unchanged, and analytics stay optional in Settings.
