## Improved

* **Updates arrive at the right moment.** Inkwell now checks for a new version each time you open it, so if an update is ready you hear about it before you start writing — not from a mid-session prompt that lands while you're mid-sentence. If you're already up to date, launch stays completely silent, and the hourly background check still covers those marathon sessions where the app stays open for days.
