What’s Included

100 welcome credits the day you sign up — plenty to explore Quill across a handful of substantive conversations. 15 credits/month thereafter, on the 1st of each month. Credits don’t roll over, but the welcome bonus is separate and stays in your account until you use it. Full Quill AI access — same model and capabilities as Pro. The Free plan just has a smaller monthly credit budget. Script Features (unlimited):

What’s Included

500 credits/month on the Pro plan. Enough budget for several substantive Quill conversations most days through a typical writing month, with room for the occasional heavy revision pass. See inkwell.app/pricing for subscription pricing. Full Quill AI access — Quill picks the best model server-side; there’s no picker to navigate. Priority Support:

• Faster response times
• Priority bug fixes
• Feature request consideration

Manage Your Subscription

Check Credit Balance

From Inkwell app:

1. Look at status bar (bottom of window)
2. Click your plan name (“Free Plan” or “Pro Plan”)
3. Popover shows:
   • Credits remaining
   • Usage breakdown (plan credits vs bonus credits)
   • Next refresh date
   • Days until refresh

From web dashboard:

1. Visit inkwell.app
2. Log in → Profile → Usage
3. See detailed statistics and writing activity

Upgrade to Pro

From Inkwell app (easiest):

1. Click your plan in the status bar
2. Click “Upgrade Plan” button
3. Complete checkout (opens in browser or uses in-app purchase)

From web:

1. Visit inkwell.app/pricing
2. Choose Pro plan
3. Complete checkout

In-App Purchase (Mac App Store version):

• Uses Apple’s payment system
• Managed through App Store subscriptions
• Same features as web version

Cancel Pro Subscription

Web subscription:

1. Visit inkwell.app
2. Profile → Manage Subscription
3. Click Cancel
4. Confirm cancellation

Mac App Store subscription:

1. macOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
2. Find Inkwell Pro
3. Click Cancel Subscription

What happens after canceling:

• Keep Pro features until billing period ends
• Automatically downgrade to Free plan
• Your scripts and work are safe
• Monthly credits drop from 500 to 15

Purchase Additional Credits

Need more credits but don’t want to upgrade? Buy credit packs.

How to Purchase

From Inkwell app:

1. Click your plan in status bar
2. Click “Purchase Credits”
3. Choose credit pack (e.g., 150 credits)
4. Complete purchase

From web:

1. Visit inkwell.app
2. Profile → Purchase Credits
3. Select pack size
4. Complete checkout

Credit Pack Details

Purchased credits:

• Don’t expire (unlike monthly credits)
• Stack with your monthly allotment
• Used after monthly credits are depleted
• Available on both Free and Pro plans

Example: Free user with 5 monthly credits left + 100 purchased credits = 105 total credits available

When to Buy Credit Packs

Good for:

• Occasional heavy usage months
• Big project deadlines
• Don’t need Pro features, just more credits
• One-time purchases without subscription

Consider Pro instead if:

• You buy credits every month
• You want access to all AI models

Billing & Payments

Payment Methods

• Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
• Apple Pay / Google Pay
• In-App Purchase (Mac App Store version uses Apple ID)

Billing Cycle

Monthly plans:

• Billed on the same date each month
• Credits refresh on billing date
• Prorated if you upgrade mid-cycle

Credits refresh:

• Free: 15 credits on the 1st of each month (or billing anniversary)
• Pro: 500 credits on billing date

Unused credits:

• Monthly credits do not roll over
• Purchased credit packs never expire

Receipts & Invoices

Web subscriptions:

• Emailed automatically after each payment
• Access history at inkwell.app → Billing

App Store subscriptions:

• Managed through Apple
• View receipts in App Store → Apple ID → Purchase History
